 Hello everybody!!! How are you doing at home?

Today is Monday, August 24^th.

We are starting a new topic this week “The future”.

Let’s start working on a song. I’m sure you know it!!!

1 - Listen to the song and put the paragraphs in order.

2- Let’s concentrate on the name of the song now:

“My heart will go on” (Mi corazón seguirá/continuará).

Aparece una palabra nueva “will” antes de la frase verbal. Esta palabra nos ayuda a formar el tiempo verbal futuro simple. Es el auxiliar que utilizaremos para formar las oraciones en este nuevo tiempo verbal.

¿Y si la oración es negativa?

“My heart won’t go on” (Mi corazón no seguirá/no continuará).                                     

          (will + not: won’t)

¿Y si la oración es interrogativa?

“Will my heart go on? (¿Seguirá/Continuará mi corazón?).

(Fíjate que “will” cambió de posición y la estructura de la pregunta es AUX+Sujeto+Verbo).

Las respuestas posibles son… Can you complete?

Yes, it ……....... (+)

No, it …………... (-)

 

3- Find “will” in its contracted form in the lyrics of the song. Copy the sentence (Encontrá “will” en su forma contraída dentro de la letra de la canción. Copiá la oración).
